Big Pizza Barcelona. Refurbishment and adaptation of pizzeria premises

Refurbishment and adaptation project of a corner premises for a pizzeria, located on a busy junction of Aragó street, in the Eixample district of Barcelona.

This is a strategic location that is easily accessible to customers and has outstanding business visibility for selling whole pizzas, pizza slices and Argentinean empanadas.

The space is L-shaped and has only two compartments: the kitchen area, and at the back of the premises, the space for the toilets and the storeroom with a rear exit for waste disposal. The rest of the space is dedicated solely to diners and customers, with an open-plan dining room that runs along the long side of the "L", and a front space where the entrance, display counter and raised bar are located.

Initially, the premises had no acoustic conditioning, fire safety measures or any other features. The refurbishment was carried out, providing the space with all the facilities and comforts required for a restaurant of this type.

The project follows the guidelines set by the franchise itself, based on a fresh and youthful design, made up of a neutral dark grey background and touches of orange, the brand’s signature colour.
